Yogger Guide for Across the Obelisk | Builds/Decks/Items & More

A guide on how to play Yogger.

Across the Obelisk has recently released a new DLC titled “The Wolf Wars”. As the title states, the DLC focuses on a war that happened 10 years before the events of the base game.

Playing the DLC, you will be able to receive new pets, new hero skins, and new heroes.

One of those heroes is Yogger. If you successfully complete the game, you will get Yogger as the new playable character.

In this guide, we will show you how to effectively play Yogger in Across the Obelisk.

Across the Obelisk – Yogger Guide

Yogger is a character you get when you complete The Wolf Wars DLC. He is a Bandit class character that is actually quite versatile.

You can have different builds set up for Yogger that can all be very useful in whatever situation. You can focus on Yogger’s perk, Big Bad Wolf, or you can build Yogger to focus on blunt attacks, healing, or bleeding.

While Yogger is a versatile character that can do a lot of builds pretty well, Yogger is a warrior first. Despite his class affiliation being a Bandit, Yogger can actually do some heavy damage when you put in the correct cards.

Primarily, any card can that can do Bleed damage is a must for Yogger.

Yogger wields a large butcher blade, so it’s obvious that Yogger is more on the chop-chop side of gameplay than healing.

When equipping equipment on Yogger, you want to focus on giving him perks instead of stats.

Health and defense are important, but if you have a good healer on your team and you give Yogger good enough gear with great perks, then you won’t have to worry too much.

But for Yogger, you will need to look for good gear that can grant him excellent perks.

An example of that is the Gladiator Helmet. One of the perks is that it grants anyone who wears it 8 Fury at the start of every match, which is insanely good for Yogger. However, it also does have some side effects that take away some health from Yogger, but that can be easily remedied with a good healer.

Another good example to help counter the Fury taking away Yogger’s health is by equipping any gear that has a health regen.
