How does one vampire gather this required material in order to proceed further with the story and be able to craft good items? Vampires are allergic to silver, aren’t they?! Well, you are in luck. Here we will discuss what is the best place of getting Silver and the best way of taking it to your base while being undamaged. Let’s get started.
How to Get Silver Ore – V Rising
First, you shall need to go to Silverlight Hills Region. This area is very rich in Silver ore as it can be found almost everywhere near the rocky areas, and sometimes even next to the roadways. You can spot them around the rocky mountains and able to farm them the fastest in this way. You can also kill witches in the area. They drop some Silver too.
Even if you want you can visit the Silver mines. Inside of them will be a plethora of Silver but this comes with its own risk. You will have to deal with a ton of enemy NPCs inside. The best one is the Sacred Silver Mine in the top left corner of the map. I recommend transforming yourself into a rat or a human and sneaking your way inside until you find an ore.
You will need to walk next to one of them(they are easily recognized as they come out from the ground in a poll fashion) and just proceed to melee strike it with your weapon. Every hit should grant you from 5-7 Silver Ore. One Ore should give you about 80-100 Silver.
You will need Merciless Iron Tools(you will have to research it) in order to get Silver. Also using the Mace as a mining tool is the most efficient. This will grant you the most Silver Ore with every hit because it does more damage to minerals.
Keep in mind that the more Silver you have in your inventory the more damage you will take over time and be vulnerable to enemy hits. You will actually see with red writing: Carrying Silver. A good idea would be to transform into a Bear form(unlocked by defeating the Ferocious Bear mini-boss) or take lots of healing potions with you. Better to play it safe if you’re planning to transport large numbers of Silver. There are also Silver Resistance potions you can use. Good luck!
