Gorecrusher The Behemoth is the second to last boss that you can track and takedown. Make sure you are extremely ready for him. Level up as much as possible, stock up on potions and gather the best gear before you take him on. One small mistake can get you killed which makes him very deadly. Let’s see how to find him and take him down.
V Rising – Gorecrusher The Behemoth Location & Fight
If you want to find Gorecrusher(just like every other mini-boss in V Rising,) you will have to build a Blood Altar. You can unlock it simply by playing the game through the story and you will be able to craft it.
Now you can interact with it and on the left-hand side, you will spot Gorecrusher The Behemoth. He is a level 78 extremely tough and tanky opponent that will take all of your skills combined to take down. He is the second to last mini-boss that you are able to hunt. Gather up every potion that might give you an extra edge over him(you will need it).
Press on the Track Blood button and you will start tracking him. Once you see Tracking the blood of Gorecrusher the Behemoth(I can sense my prey in the distance) on your left you will know you are on the correct path. You can see a trail of blood that will lead in his general direction.
Follow this way to find him where he is. Unlike lots of the other mini-bosses in the game where you have to literally roam around to find them, The Behemoth will have his own special lair where you can find him sitting peacefully. He is located here:
This area is gonna be named Lair of the Behemoth and it is located in the Cursed Forest.
Drink all the potions that might help you ahead of the battle. Make a big burst at first but be careful of his charge. He will rush towards you head first and try to push you. Every hit from Behemoth will be crazy amounts of damage.
If you see him going up in the air with his hands, it means he’s going for an AoE attack that does an extreme amount of damage around him. He will smack the ground with one hand, so make sure to stay far away from it. Even stones will go flying up in the air.
If he manages to get next to you, you will be surprised by how fast his melee hits are. He will usually make a round of 3 hits towards you.
If you see him make a giant leap into the air, just roll around and get away from the area where you were standing originally. He will fall next to you and do massive damage.
He can make a big AoE attack when he breaks the ground in a star formation around him. You can easily dodge this by keeping an eye on the ground wave coming toward you.
His head rushes are the easiest to dodge. He will make 3 of them one after the other. He will swipe past you going left and right. He can catch you this way and throw you in the air. This will stun you.
He will turn into almost a ghost form and summon a wolf and a bear to go after you. He will be passive at this moment, so all you have to do is deal your damage on these newly spawned animals and take them down. Try to take them down faster tho, because Gorecrusher might come back into action and now you will be dealing with 2 enemies(maybe 3). Be careful from the white orbs circling around him too.
Once he goes to low HP, he will summon a ghost version of himself to try and take you down. This is where it starts to get tricky. You will have to deal with 2 sets of attacks coming your way. Dodge as much as you can, and take down the ghost version(it has less HP than Gorecrusher himself).
If you take him down and he still has white orbs around him, wait until they disappear because they will still do damage to you. Go next to him, hold F to extract his blood, and get his reward. Good luck! Now you have only 1 last boss to take down.
