The Quarry is a survival horror interactive drama video game that is played in third person. The player controls one of nine distinct youths who may survive a night at Hackett’s Quarry. That survivability is entirely up to your decisions and the developers knew that death will be very common, they added a little something like the Death Rewind to help you out.

Death Rewind Explained – The Quarry

After finishing the whole story of the game, you will want to go back and replay it to see the different outcomes. Each and every time you do this you will notice something different. That is the beauty of The Quarry.

That is why the developers have implemented the Death Rewind system. This allows the ,,undoing’’(or your character dying after a bad decision) of up to 3 characters’ deaths in your run for that playthrough.

This is a very handy way to sort of get out of a bad situation and slightly tilt the odds in your favor.

That doesn’t mean that it will save you from the other 11 ways of dying so be careful.
