Now you are at the endgame of Monster Hunter Sunbreak and don’t really know what to do next. Well, get into the Anomaly Rank! Where the monsters hit harder than a ten-ton truck with health points ten times bigger than your ego. You think we are kidding? Try taking these monsters yourselves and let us know.

Meanwhile, here are some guides that will help you in taking down these Anomaly Monsters and get good at Anomaly Rank.

Anomaly Rank Guide – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

Anomaly Rank is an endgame quest where you can take on monsters at the highest difficulty. To get Anomaly Quest, you need to finish the red-coated Lunagaron quest in the main story. Soon after, Chichae introduces you to the Anomaly concept where you can take these Afflicted Monsters, if you have the courage of course. Take note that you will need to grind your Master Rank first in order to get more Anomaly Research quests.

These afflicted monsters can not be captured and will periodically enter the Anomaly state. Monsters in this state can inflict Bloodblight on the unwary Hunters which makes you temporarily unable to recover health using items.

When a monster is in Anomaly state, you can see its body parts glowing with red lights. These are anomaly cores. Aim for these glowing parts to temporarily take them down and get some hits in safely, at least until they’re possessed again. If you failed to get enough damage to burst the anomaly cores, the monster explodes with anomaly burst.

Once you managed to take down one of these brute monsters, you are rewarded with some new materials. Depending on the type, the Anomaly monsters will drop new crafting items called Afflicted Materials that you can use to upgrade your weapon or armor to Rank 10.
