The new jungle map looks beautiful with its sparkling white beaches and thick jungle fauna. It is also very confusing for new and old players alike. For those looking for a great Hermitaur farming route or are having trouble finding the Sub-camp and Palico Recon then this guide is for you.
Easy Hermitaur Farm – Sub-Camp & Palico Recon Locations
The Jungle map, like a jungle in real life, can be quite confusing to navigate. It is also quite a vertical place with large cliffs and plateaus in the middle, with large open areas around it. Here is some information about this new and exciting map.
Jungle Sub-Camp Location
The Sub-Camp Location in the Jungle Map is south of area 3. When you enter that area face south and look at the cliff face, at the top of the cliff should be an opening where you can see leaves and vines.
Once you’ve climbed up there, you’re set. Just go straight ahead until you find the Sub-Camp!
Palico Recon Locations
There are two Palico Recon locations on this map, and just like the Sub-Camp it involves high places. The first one is near the starting point, when you go to the passage between areas 11 and 5 faces north and you should see a cliff face.
Go climb that and another set of cliffs until you reach the top. There you should see the Recon location next to a hollowed-out tree to the left.
The second one is on top of the cliffs between areas 9 and 2. This one is low enough at certain angles for you to jump with your mount if you wish. Just follow the long island until you find the Recon Location marked with floating dandelions animation.
Hermitaur Farm Location & Route
If you need to farm Hermitaurs or you need to slay them for a quest then look no further than this guide! Hermitaurs are found in the Jungle areas of: 11, 4, 3, and 10. They’re fairly easy to kill and you can follow the route down below to get all of them.
