Another item to help you cook even faster can be bought from John, the person that runs the shop. Even when he’s just visiting, he’ll be selling the BBQ. Basically, a grill and a direct upgrade from the campfire. It functions just like the campfire where you place food inside of it and it’ll cook it, albeit faster than the campfire. It costs 34,000 Dinks.
These cooking stations can be great in the early game, but the campfire and BBQ are basically the same thing. They’re both very simple ways of cooking food, just chuck in a single food item and wait for it to cook. There is another way of cooking in Dinkum, and that’s with using a Cooking Table.
The Cooking Table costs 5 Palm Wood Planks, 2 Nails, 1 Tin Bar and 1 Tin Sheet. Once you’ve made one then you can place it anywhere you like.
The Cooking Station unlocks the rest of the cooking world in Dinkum, when you interact with the cooking station it will show you a series of different recipes.
