Divine Knockout: Athena Guide

Become the best Athena player!

Divine Knockout has been winning the hearts of many players who have been playing it. It has a lot of characters to choose from but one, in particular, is getting a kind of letdown feeling. That is Athena and the reason behind that is that she is very special. In this guide, you shall learn how to play her better. Let’s get started.

Athena Guide – Divine Knockout

The first and most important thing that you should about Athena, is that she is a counter specialist. That means that she is the character that can counter pretty much all the special attacks that can be thrown her way. Her skill set is based on countering what the enemy is doing which makes her very special and unique.

That leads us to the biggest mindset that you need to have with Athena – Be Reactive. You will have to have an extra eye open for the enemies’ attacks and skills to be able to fully master Athena. You will mirror their attacks and then use this against them.

Athena is not Tanky. Do not just mash buttons and try to take on all the enemies that you will face. You will have to be smart and move around and actually wait for the enemies to use their skills against you. Do not mash buttons with Athena!

You will go around the map and battle arena and just pick your shots. You will want to be moving left and right and just be very patient. You will notice when a battle might be going sideways for a certain character and then use that to your advantage. Pick your shots and you will be destroying a lot of enemies.

You will want to play your counter with your parry. The parry is very strong and it could be the reason behind your win. Athena is a very strong character, just her playstyle needs to be very different than your regular Divine Knockout grunt.

That’s all that you need to know about Athena. We hope that this guide has helped you out with becoming a better Athena player. Good luck winning some games!
