Feeding a dog or any other normal animal is easy. All you need is a scoop or two of kibble and they’ll eventually calm down. Feeding every other animal that could potentially tear off your limbs in ARK: Survival Ascended though, not so much.

Tame an extra creature or two in your base and you’ll see the demand for kibble rise in a matter of minutes. That’s where the kibble farm will come in. Don’t worry, you’ll have enough of it at end of this guide to be able to feed an entire pack of Carnos!

How To Make Kibble Farm

You can easily make a thousand units of kibble per day, maybe even more. The Industrial Cooker is your best friend for the entirety of this process.

What you’ll need the most besides that, is some Lazarus Chowder and an Extraordinary Dinosaur egg. Other ingredients like Giant Bee Honey, Mejoberry, Water, and Fiber will be easier to get.

To start things off, you’re going to need some crop plots. This is one of the first few things that you’ll unlock in the game. You’re going to need at least six stacks of crop plots, make it any higher and you’re going to have to plop down a set of stairs too.

Use at least two rows of crop plots each for your mejo and narcoberries. These rows will produce at least 1,500 berries for one in-game hour. That’s a total of 30,000 berries produced per day. Achieve that number easier by having the greenhouse gas effect on your plots.

At this point, berries will no longer be a problem for you. Do the same for Longrass and Savoroot to produce a near infinite amount of Lazarus Chowder. Don’t forget to gather cooked meat as well. You can easily do that with a campfire.

The next thing you should be concerned about is spoiled meat right? Wrong. All you have to do is put up a toilet and put your meat in it. The cooked meat will become spoiled in an instant and will be ready for processing on the chemistry bench.

Up next is giant bee honey. It’s okay if you haven’t tried taming these yet. All you need to do is tame the queen to get the hive and bring it back to your base.

If you’re having trouble finding a nest, then try reading our How to highlight beehives guide.

Get all of that done and leave a few rare flowers in your hives to start producing honey. Having three hives is more than enough to meet the demand of making Extraordinary Kibble.

The last component is the Extraordinary Dinosaur Egg. You can get a Hesperornis and hope for a golden egg, or you can just tame a bunch of Yutyrannus. A Yutyrannus with an Oviraptor nearby will produce a large amount of eggs over time.

The more females you have, the more eggs they’ll produce, because life just goes on that way. Have at least 10 or 25 of these to produce hundreds of eggs per day.

Follow every step in this ARK: Survival Ascended guide to no longer work for kibble again. You can use this to tame every dinosaur in the game. This just makes the whole taming process a cakewalk because most of the time you only need 10 units of it. Now trade it with other players before they find out how to make it themselves!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
