How To Make Recipes

What you’ll need in order to start making your own recipes is a cooking pot, a few notes, and some of the resources necessary for crafting. In order to make a note, you’re going to need thatch and fiber.

Gather a decent amount of those and you can start making a recipe. Start by disabling auto-craft on your crafting menu when you interact with a campfire.

The next screen you’ll see will be divided into three categories. What you’ll see will include your inventory, the contents of the cooking pot, and create recipe.

The last panel on the right is for people who are ready to make a decision.

Every usable item that can be turned into something edible will be placed in your inventory. Drag any of the items you want into the cooking pot itself to begin crafting.

Once you’re satisfied with what’s in the pot, you can move on to finalizing your recipe.

On the last panel, you can make adjustments like changing the color of your recipe. This only affects the thumbnail preview, so put together a few colors that don’t match if you want. It might help with keeping players away from your stash!

You can add in more information like the name of your recipe and a short description. Click on “Make Recipe” when you’re happy with the changes you’ve made, and it will consume the note you have.
