Ark Survival Ascended has just started its Winter Wonderland 2023 event, which promises to have plenty of holiday-themed events, freebies, loots, and a lot more enjoyable stuff.

Winter Wonderland 2023 Guide
How To Activate Winter Wonderland
- Launch the game.
- Navigate to the Ark Mods list.
- Search for Winter Wonderland.
- Install the update.
- Return to the main menu and select Mod Settings.
- Activate Winter Wonderland and join the server.
Depending on your server, there will be increased rates:
- PVP/PVE – 1.5x Harvesting, Taming, and Experience + 1.5x Breeding
- Small Tribes – 4x Harvesting, Taming, and Experience + 3.5x Breeding
- ARKpocalypse – 4.5x Harvesting, Taming and Experience + 4.5x Breeding
The Raptor Claus Event
The Raptor Claus event is one of the most highly anticipated events of the holiday. What happens here is that every midnight, Raptor Claus appears to drop loots all over the map.
Make sure that you know where and how to spot Raptor Claus and follow him in the sky to pick up all of the loots available.
Raptor Claus appears at a random spot at the edge of the map and then travels through a straight line until he reaches the other end. Simply follow the line of his path, so that you will know where his loots are.
All Rewards (Items, Skins & Chibi Pets)
The presents that you can get from Raptor Claus contain new loots that are unique to the holiday season. These rewards include skins, emotes, and Chibi-Pets.
On top of that, previous skins from past Winter Wonderland events can now be crafted at the Smithy so that you could get your hands on them if you missed them in the previous years.

New Creatures
Along with Raptor Claus, there will also be new holiday-themed dinos and creatures that will appear in the game.
These creatures will drop holiday-themed loots, such as Mistletoe or Coal. The other two creatures will have additional mechanics for their drops.
- Abominable Snowman
- Santa’s Big Helper Yeti
- Pegomastax Grouch – Steals gift boxes but gives a special reward.
- Wild Rideable Reindeer – Feed it with Rockarrot and ride it to get additional loots or drops.

There are also going to be wild creatures that will appear in unique colors in line with the holiday theme:
