In order to fix the freezing issues on Atelier Ryza 3, you will need to set your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode. From there, you will need to click on Atelier Ryza 3 and click on the gear icon. Click on Properties, then Local Files, and then Browse to open the game’s directory. A new window will pop up that takes you straight to where the exe file for the game is.
With that open, your next step is to download the atfix file from GitHub. Click on the link and you will be taken to the download page of the file. Click on atfix.zip and the download will start. Once it’s done, open the zip file and you should see the d3d11.dll file inside. Move the .dll file into the games directory and you are done. All that is left is to boot up the game and you can start playing.
