Chivalry 2: Archer Guide

Chivalry 2 is an intense multiplayer shooter set in medieval times. You can choose to fight with your sword or your arrows. This guide will show you how to fight and take down enemies as an archer in Chivalry 2.

As you start with the Archer class, you will be the Longbowman and have the normal bow. You can also become the crossbowman which has more damage but a slower release time. You will also have a small shield with this class. 

Lastly, you can also become the Skirmisher, which specializes in throwing spears and axes. 

Special Abilities

The Longbowman can put down a Brazier as its special ability. The Brazier can light up your arrows and take down enemies. The Crossbowman can use this structure with their crossbow arrows as well. 

On the other hand, if you want to level up your archery quickly, use the Crossbowman. The Crossbowman will put down a banner that can motivate allies, giving you points simply for using your ability. 

If you choose the Skirmisher, you will act as the person who can restock ammunition. You can do this wherever you are. 

Weapons and Strategies

The Warbow is one of the weapons you want to get. This weapon can instantly kill other archers and can deal a lot of damage to other classes as well.  If you are using a Longbowman, you can use your spike trap as leverage to get to higher ground. 

As an archer, your main focus is other archers. However, if you play as a crossbowman, you will need to focus on Knights as well. Stay behind the lines to deal consistent damage for your team. 

You also do not need to constantly go for the kill. Instead, you can damage enemies just enough so when they go down, you will also get takedown points.
