While Choo-Choo Charles isn’t jam packed with gameplay features and mechanics, that doesn’t mean that it is a boring game with nothing to do. In fact, the simplicity of the game is what draws some people in. No radio towers to reveal the map, no dungeons to collect gear, no enemies that are bullet sponges (except for Charles), and more. But, there are still some things that the game takes from other games and puts it in, like climbing towers. But it’s not for pointless things, which is good. Instead, you do it for a mission.
Climb Tall Abandoned Towers to find Missing Files for Ronny – Choo-Choo Charles
Go to the location and get the mission
You first need to get the mission before you start climbing. Open your map and you should see an Optional Mission at the left side of the island (refer to the image above).
There, you will meet a man named Ronny. He talks to you about needing something at the top of the tower, so he asks you for help. In return, you get a lot of scrap for your train.
Parkour up the towers
After talking to Ronny, you will get the Cloud Climber mission. It’s still in the area, so you don’t have to go anywhere far.
Once you are free to move, go inside the building and go up the stairs.
Once you reach the top of the stairs, you should see a doorway with the other building visible. You will need to get some good speed and distance in order to jump all the way to the other side.
Go through the second tower and you should see a stack of boxes on a balcony. Climb up the boxes in order to reach the next floor.
On the next floor, use the stairs to continue your ascension up the tower.
Once you reach the top of the second tower, you will see a broken railing and the first tower in sight. Sprint and immediately jump before you hit the ledge to make it back to the first tower.
Go forward and you should see another jump. Cross it and go up the stairs until you reach the top.
At the top, there should be a room with a yellow filing cabinet inside. Open it and grab the files. You can safely make your way down, but you will get a little bit of fall damage.
Go back to Ronny and give him the files. He will then give you scrap, which completes the mission.
