Sometimes using lead to deal with machines just won’t cut it. Most of the time the only result you get from shooting one is a funny twang sound.
As satisfying at it may be to fire 4 gauge shells it’s high time that you consider a change in your strategy. This is where your Dominator comes in!
Think of it as some sort of pulse rifle, it discharges nothing but electricity that is sure to short-circuit any Lab Tech who makes an attempt to sweep you off your feet without your consent.
In this guide, we’ll help you deal more damage by getting an upgrade!
Atomic Heart | Dominator High-Intensity Modulators Location
If you’re still at the Testing Grounds then it would be best to stay there a while, specifically around the 10th site.
This is where you will be spending the next few minutes to get the High-Intensity Modulators upgrade for your Dominator!
When you arrive at the surface of Testing Ground 10 head off the main path and climb the log cabin via the yellow pipes on the side.
At the other end of the roof should be a small room with a terminal inside that you can interact with.
Point at the camera shown on the image above and call the elevator that’s hiding beneath the pig pen across the cabin.
The elevator will take you to the test site proper, make a left turn as soon as you get out and at the end of the corridor should be a panel sticking out of the floor. Douse that with foam and promptly use SHOK in order to open the door in front of it.
That will now lead you to the first puzzle room.
In order to clear that room you have to guide the orange orb to the ceiling in order to be able to interact with the magnets.
Cast SHOK on those magnets and it will send another orange orb your way.
Now use those two orbs to open the door!
The next room is much bigger in size, find the orb that’s on the table and attach it to the left side of the room first and then cast SHOK on the magnets.
Transfer the orb to the right side of the room, cast SHOK again, and jump across to get to the catwalk on the other side.
You will find the orb attached to a container on your right, throw that orb across the room and grab the other one you left on the ceiling on your way back. Attach them both to the door to continue on.
As you navigate the corridor behind that door there should be a door at the end that has a Lootyagin inside.
Grab that for a free upgrade and proceed further.
You will reach a dead end shortly, there’s two passageways on both sides that have another set of metallic poles sticking out. Wave your hand around to activate them both and the door will now move out of your way.
The room that you will end up in next has no puzzles, you simply have to stay on the right, climb over some containers onto a platform and navigate all the way until you see metallic bars at the end that lets you shimmy to a blocked off area of the room.
You’ll find a crawlspace once you get off the bars, go straight through that and the next door will lead you to another magnetic puzzle room.
There should be a blue magnetic platform to your right so get on that and cast SHOK on the ceiling to proceed to the platform in front of you.
You can get to the post on the far end of the room by jumping and dashing across the containers. Start by jumping onto the one on the right first and on the ledge to the left second.
Once you press the big red button on that ledge you can call on the magnets again one more time to lower the platform next to the door on the other side of the room.
Beyond that room is a Golden Lootyagin to your right that will contain the upgrades for your Dominator.
