By far the best addition to the Far Cry games are the Amigos. You can have many animals to help you out throughout your journey, ranging from scary crocodiles, to little cute dogs. Chorizo is the little cute dog that can become your companion in the new Far Cry 6, if you do a quick quest where you need to feed him his favorite snack! Sounds easy enough, right? Well then, let’s get right into it and see exactly how you get this little “sausage” to join you!
How to Get Chorizo (Dog Companion / Amigo) – Far Cry 6
In Costa del Mar, one of the first regions in the game, you will find a quest in Montero Farm where you will see a dog sitting in his little house. You can see the exact location below:
If you get the quest, you will need to cook up a quick recipe for Chorizo that involves crocodile meat. You will find the recipe next to his house.
As you can see in the image above, there is a crocodile hunting spot to the South of Chorizo’s location. Just go there and kill a croc.
Once that is done, go back to him and feed him by putting the meat in his bowl. The quest will end and you can now get the Fetch Quest from him.
You will walk around with him and he will show you all the treasure that’s hidden around here. After that, he will be your amigo.
He is a Stealth based amigo, and he will help distract your enemies with his cuteness.
