Final Fantasy XIV is a living and breathing world where the more GILS you have, the more things you can buy, and doors are opened for you. Let’s see how to make a lot of them in simple and easy ways.

How To Make A Lot Of GILS – Final Fantasy XIV

Roulettes

If you Roulettes you can get lots of GILS in a very easy manner. But let’s say you do it as a needed role. For example, if you play as a Tank or a Healer, which is needed a lot of the time, you’ll get double the amount of GILS. This will also level up your class at the same time.

You can do this once a day.

Treasure Hunt Maps

Just bring your own maps and sometimes a portal will open. Meaning that a mini-dungeon will open up for you and your dungeon crew. This way you are going to generate GILS because you are actually creating them in these dungeons.

If you feel like not doing a dungeon or a map, simply selling the map works as well. This can get you also a good amount of GILS.

Market Analysis

This is really something that you have to be active and constantly keep an eye on. The prices! The prices will change at times meaning that once if you had a piece of clothing that was useless, now may have gone in price and will make you crazy amount of profit if sold wisely.

Just study the market and you can make a profit with 0 effort. A good example is the Casual attire.

Skybuilders Items

This is a grindy way to make money but still as efficient. You can gather or craft the Skybuidlers’ items. Turning them in will get you scripts which eventually you can turn into to get items. These items will be something like emotes, haircuts, weird looks, etc. These can be sold easily at the market for sometimes very big prices.

Patch Added Items

This is straight basic really. Keep an eye out on the new upcoming items that are gonna get released with every patch that hits the game. Check out the newly added inventory, or clothes, items, weapons, etc. Make sure to check out how to get them in-game and you’ll be able to sell them for a lot, at least while they are fresh content in the game.

Also, this works for Holiday Events too. Keeping some resources to craft some Holiday specific items is a key to making a profit these days. An example is the Heart Chocolate which sees a lot of business during Valentine’s season. Maybe buy it now from the market, and re-sell it in the holidays 5x times this amount. Profit!

Grand Company Turn Ins

These are items that are generated every day. Once you collect them, you can turn them in and in return get a bunch of experience and money.

Materials

This is when new gear will get released. As of writing this, it isn’t very viable and well worth it, but when the time is right you can make a lot of profit. Make sure to discover the newly added gear and just stack up on some resources that will be used to craft that gear.

For example, you can go for lots of Materia which can be used to upgrade players’ gear and stuff. So have the needed materials early in the expansion and see yourself become a big trader!
