Fortnite has just recently received an update that adds some things to make the game even more spicy. One of those things are brand new bosses.
These bosses are very powerful and can take a while to kill, with one of them being the pretty much immortal Peter Griffin.
However, there is one boss at the Grand Glacier that has a secret tucked away at the bottom, which is a vault. In this guide, I will show you how you can unlock the Grand Glacier vault in the game.
How to Unlock Grand Glacier Vault
First of all, you will need to drop to the Grand Glacier location. This is located at the very east part of the map.
If the bus is going to fly over it, you’ll have a faster chance to unlock the Grand Glacier vault. If not, then you will have to drop as close as you can and either glide or run your way to it.
When you arrive at the Grand Glacier area, look around until you spot Montague and his bodyguards.
You will have to kill Montague in order to get his medallion, which is the key to unlocking the Grand Glacier vault.
The only difficult part about this are the bodyguards, as there are a lot of them, and you can easily get overwhelmed if you are playing Solo.
I recommend getting a full squad or at least one other person to help. They are still AI, but numbers can definitely help.
Once Montague is down, he will then drop some loot. One of those is the Montague’s Medallion item, which you will need to pick up as soon as it drops.
After getting the medallion, go to the side of the building and look for the stairs that leads down to the vault. You will be able to spot it easily when you see the symbol above the stairs.
At the bottom of the stairs, you will find the vault and a console to the right. Simply approach the console and use Montague’s Medallion on the vault will unlock for you.
You can then go inside and chill in the Grand Glacier vault for all but 10 seconds before the storm catches up to you.
