Ghostwire Tokyo: City of Shadows Quest Guide

The City of Shadows is one of the first missions you will receive in Ghostwire Tokyo. You will learn more about the basics of the game and combat in this mission. This guide will show you how you can complete the City of Shadows quest. 

City of Shadows quest guide – Ghostwire Tokyo

When you first enter the hospital, you will receive an objective called “Get to Mari’s Room”. This will activate the City of Shadows questline. Continue into the hospital hallway and you should see some enemies that haven’t noticed you yet.

You can sneak up behind these enemies and instantly rip out their core. If you do get caught, you can simply use your wind attack to fight them. Clear up the enemies and you should be able to unlock the skill tree once you increase Akito’s synergy level. 

Learn the Charged attack skill in the menu and climb up the escalator. Follow the hallway on the second floor until you encounter another enemy. Use your charged attack on the enemy and rip out their core. 

Loot the food on the sofa then turn right. Break some crystallized ethers and then enter the small door next to the nurse counter. Enemies will run out of this door so go ahead and clear them. Once cleared, go into the room again and head north to the marker.

Keep going to the marker until you can climb up the stairs to the next floor. The stairs to the next fourth floor will be blocked so go to your left. Go into the room and head straight into the kitchen. Turn right and follow this hallway to the marker once again. 

Climb up the stairs and turn left to the area with green lighting. Follow the path to the north then turn right to reach Mari’s room. 

After the cutscene, use the elevator outside the room to leave the hospital to complete the mission.
