The Forgotten Hall is one of the mid-game content in Honkai: Star Rail. It is essentially the Spiral Abyss of Genshin Impact and have 15 floors, with each floor giving you 200 Stellar Jades and 20k Credits. They also don’t refresh, like the first 8 stages of Genshin.

Floor 15 of Forgotten Hall is doable with an F2P lineup. In fact, it’s rather easier than F14 if I may say so myself. Keep reading for tips and tricks you can use!

F2P Forgotten Hall Floor 15 3-Star Guide

Is Honkai: Star Rail an F2P-friendly game? Yes. You actually have a pretty decent chance in enjoying the content with at least one five-star character’s that’s guaranteed at 50 rolls from the beginner’s banner. And as you continue going through the Trailblazer Missions, you’ll get yourself a lot of Stellar Jades and Passes to roll for new characters.

So keep in mind, that we’re going to suggest to you some lineups featuring your favorite five-stars that will work best for this floor. Or swap them for four-stars that work just as well.

Disclaimer: I don’t whale. These are the characters I earned with Nameless Honor, which is worth about 8 pulls. So the only difference between me and F2P players are the time I save from grinding for the resources.

First Half, Gepard

The first half of the round is Gepard. Gepard is simple and don’t summon a lot of followers. He doesn’t even deal a lot of damage, which leaves his thick HP and DEF the only problem.

Several characters to use against him are: Serval, Welt, Clara, Destruction MC, Sushang, Tingyun, March 7th, Yanqing

My mistake was actually not giving my Welt the right Relics. I ended up with 3k credits in my pocket and barely +6 relics on him. But my lineup was Clara, Welt, Yangqing, and Natasha.

Now what actually works when your Welt isn’t being a DPS like mine is using. Destruction MC actually packs a punch with his single hit Ulti if you give them the right Relics. They’re very straightforward and goes without saying, only needs one shielder to function, the rest of the team just focuses on chipping away at the shield and not die.

So another lineup that would’ve worked a lot better if invested are Destruction MC, Serval, March 7th/Gepard/Natasha, Dan Heng/Sushang.

Second Half, Cocolia

Honestly, Cocolia is even easier because of how easier it is to chip through her HP. Gepard is a tank, while with Cocolia, you can almost always guarantee breaking her at any time. Her weaknesses are fire, lightning, and quantum.

Several characters perfect for this are: Jing Yuan, Seele, Preservation MC, Serval, Hook, Asta (best fire-breaker).

First off, if you have rolled for Seele, she is perfect for this round. She was just designed to be the perfect counter to Cocolia. Secondly, if you have Jingyuan and Tingyun as your main pair, they’re the second best combo to run for her.

It takes me only 3-4 rounds with Cocolia and my lineup was Preservation MC, Tingyun, Jingyuan, Asta. You can easily see how you can just swap out Jing Yuan with your any other main DPS like Seele, Hook, or Qinque. Another that’ll work is Hook, Qinque, Asta, and Natasha.

The reason why I suggest Preservation MC is because you need a tank for her AoE damage and her ice sticks. And the trailblazer remains one of the best self-sustaining tank out there. I don’t even grind for his Relics – I just use what Pom Pom gives us when we level up. Of course it’s even better if you have Gepard.

There are still other amazing characters you might be sleeping on. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing Asta’s E works on her. She shreds through her shield like nobody’s business. Serval is also another character designed to counter her well.

The Trick

  • You need to know which character wears down the shield best and who’s going to deal that break damage.
  • Don’t feel like you have to use your skill points right now. Learn to keep your skill points because they’re shared across your characters.
  • Invest in Traces, Levels, and Light Cones before Relics! Doesn’t mean you should just use about anything. But grinding for Relics shouldn’t take priority until you’re satisfied with maxing out 2-3 of your main characters at Equilibrium IV.

Don’t Feel Stressed Out!

Something that I’m sure plagues many people who want to enjoy the game is how they feel pressed to finish the F15 right now. Guess what, you don’t have to feel so! The thing about these challenges is that they get a lot easier when you reach higher equilibriums that unlocks better Traces. Your raw DPS output will get better.

Rushing into entering the Memory of Chaos when you’re still struggling with F15 means that you probably won’t be ready for what’s to come anyways. Because the enemies get a lot stronger, a lot more aggressive, and you’ll just have to be Equlibrium IV at minimum. Unless, of course, you’re willing to whale for Superimposed Light Cones and characters’ Eidolons.

Each Memory of Chaos cycle lasts for 2 weeks so take your time! Do your daily farming and grinding. You can build your characters and attempt every on the last day.
