Each of us may need to change our name on Steam at some point for various reasons. Fortunately for this, you have the option on the platform. Here’s how to do it in a few steps.

The first thing to do is to open Steam normally, and in the upper right corner, you can see your Steam name.
Click here and in the drop-down menu, you have the option View my profile. This will take you to your profile page.
Next on the right side of the page, you will see the Edit My Account option. Then, you will be directed to the About page.
Here you will have options to change your real name, profile name as well as Custom URL.
Delete the old profile name and type in the new name. After this do not forget to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Save option.
When you have saved these settings go back to the home page and you will see that your name is now changed.
