V Rising is a survival crafting game where you roam around the entire map looking for Materials and Blood while killing lots of NPCs. You will need a place to lay down for a while and keep those materials safe. Let’s see how to build yourself a base.

V Rising – How To Construct Castle Heart

To begin anything in V Rising, you will need to build a Castle Heart. This is basically the foundation of your base. You can find some useful guides on where might be the best positions to place your base, as it impacts the entire game.

First of all, you will need to proceed with the story and keep playing until you unlock the mission Lord of Shadows. After finishing this, your vampire will get the option to settle on a piece of land or build a base.

Finding this place is entirely up to you. But what you do need to do, is clear out the whole surrounding area of trees and make sure that the terrain is suitable for starting a build. My recommendation for a build that doesn’t need a lot of work for clearing out trees and rocks:

There will be Skeletons roaming about, but they are very easy to kill.

If the terrain is uneven you’ll get the message Blocked by Environment. For better instruction on how much space you will have for your base, look for Limited or Fair Area. Build on the Fair Area as is it enough space for everything you might need.

The Castle Heart required 30 Blood Essence(feed on random living creatures) and 240 Stones to be built. This is the center of your builds so make sure you position it well. After placing it somewhere, make sure to lay other foundations around your Castle Heart. Take down any stones or trees in the area for more space to work on.

A very important thing to remember is that your Heart will decay with time. You just need to feed it with Blood Essense from time to time and it will be standing strong.
