Pokemon Legends: Arceus offers tons of areas to explore. However, some lakes and rivers can prevent you from crossing them. This guide will show you how you can surf and cross the bodies of water in game.
How to Surf — Pokemon Legends Arceus
In other Pokemon series, to cross bodies of water, you will need to teach the move Surf to a Pokemon first. Pokemon Legends: Arceus changes it up a bit so you cannot simply teach the “Surf move” to a Pokemon and surf across the water.
You will need a mount that can surf across the water which is called the Basculegion. To get a Basculegion, you will need to progress the story until you get to 3rd area.
You will meet a man named Warden Iscan. When you talk to Iscan, he will ask that you catch some Dusclops. He is currently watching over a Basculegion.
Complete his request and you will get the Celestica Flute. Use the Celestica Flute to summon the Basculegion and surf across the water.
You can summon it anytime and it is one of the fastest ways you can travel across the region.
