Early in game, you are given a horse as a mount, but if you want to opt for something more stylish, the Shadow Wolf Mount might be the one for you. Read on to find out how to get this cool mount!
Unlock Shadow Wolf Mount | Lost Ark
While the game has a cash shop that also sells cosmetics among other things, the Shadow Wolf Mount is a purely-free mount that you can unlock in game with enough patience and grind. Like most cool, in-game items, it can also be unlocked by increasing rapport with a particular NPC.
The Shadow Wolf Mount is the black version of the Frost Wolf. If you like the Wolf series of mounts in the game, you can increase your rapport with the NPC Poppy, located in the Icewing Heights at Shushire. Currently, he’s the only NPC that rewards a mount for reaching high rapport.
Not only is giving gifts to Poppy a particularly enjoyable act (he’s such a good boi!), it’s pretty easy as most of his rapport gifts are not that hard to find.
You can also play him the Heart’s Melody music for a whopping 250 rapport increase. Pretty convenient as you can get this music early on in the game.
As for the emote he likes, Affection is what you can give him, and rightfully so! This emote will net you 275 rapport if you don’t want to spend money on gifts.
Now, get on there, build that rapport up and you’ll find yourself riding up a storm in your new mount!
