Monster Hunter Sunbreak: Citadel Map Sub-Camp Location

Sunbreak brings the brand new huge and very beautiful Citadel map. There is a bunch of stuff for players to see and explore here. You might die, or sometimes even need a better location for spawning to get to travel it more. Well, this is why you’ll need to create another Sub-Camp to the north. Let’s see how you find the Citadel Map Sub-Camp Location.

Citadel Map Sub-Camp Location – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

You will start running from the spawn location and follow the main road up ahead, literally the one that is in the middle. You will get past the bridge and the castle area on the right. Now take the 3rd road from the three that open out.

Follow this small pathway to get to section 5 of the map. Now past the number 5 is where you’ll go right, or when the map starts to get colder and snow showing. Keep running and now just follow the only road that is available.

You will start going to the left inside a small little tunnel and just keep going straight. You’ll get a message saying that this would be an ideal location for a Sub-Camp.

After this, you’ll have to go back to El Gado where you’ll need to speak to the merchant in the Market section and he will actually give you a quest for setting up a Sub-Camp in the same location that you were on.

You will need to kill 8 Boggi as well. After finishing, the camp area will be cleared out and a safe zone will be created. You will be able to fast travel here in the future now.

The Boggis is actually a new NPC that you can find only on the Citadel map. They will be mostly in these locations, as it is their spawns:

You can swap between the two locations. First, clear out the one on the bottom, then go to the other one, and back to the first one. You will have killed 8 in about 1.5 runs.

Congratulations! You will have unlocked the new sub-camp and will have another spawn location on the other side of the map. Your new updated map should look a little something like this now.
