A lot of questions have been asked by the players. What are those early master rank builds that are mostly easy to get? Well, you are in luck. In this guide, we will discuss just that and separate them into a Melee and Gunner set.

Early Master Rank Builds | Melee & Gunner – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

First of all, you will need to learn how to put aside your high-rank sets and upgrade.

Melee Build

For the equipped skills you can basically decide if something that you love to implement as your playstyle you are free to do so. But for this guide, you will need to follow these skills:

If you want, you can change some of them too.

For a weapon, you can basically go crazy about what’s best and ideal for you. Something that is very effective and recommended is The Lightning Shredder.

You will need to use Kaiser Crown as an early master rank, it is more than recommended. When you get to around MR3, you will find some items to replace this with, but for starters especially, it is a very high-value piece of equipment.

Then next on the list is the Kamura Legacy Garb. It is something that can be upgraded with the Wirebug Whisperer. This is something that in Sunbreak it’s gonna be worked with a lot.

Next are Jaggi Gauntlets and the Velociprey Tassets, they come as a package deal. You will focus on Attack Boost with these. They come together a lot and they boost up your damage output a significant amount. Very useful indeed. You can attach some stuns on them too.

Then we come to the Orangaten Greaves. This is a new dropped item from the newly added monsters too. Very useful with all its buffs but especially the Protective Polish that you will need to focus on.

The Talisman is coming down to purely RNG. But you will have to focus on a God Talisman. It’s simply better than anything, what can you do. You can put Absolute Petalace and Fatal Tempest Talisman. They come in handy a lot.

Gunning Set

This is going to take a little bit longer to put together but in the end, it’s well worth it. These pieces come from doing a follower quest. You will need to find and do the quest with Dame Luchika. She is a lot of fun to hunt with. The armor she is actually wearing is the Artillery Core Set.

It will be the second hunt with her that you’ll get this set for yourself. And we’re talking very big boosts about the gunning set.

This is how you can set up the skill levels.

For a weapon go crazy, but recommended is the Sinister Shadow Bolt.

First off, we start with the Rhenoplos Helm X. This helm has access to a lot of the gunner stuff. You can perk up the Pierce up as your main focus here. It will give a Rapid Fire up as well as a Pierce Fire boost.

Then we come to the Kamura Legacy Garb. This is the same one as before but it simply works. You will get a point of Recoil and Critical Eye. Also, the Wirebug Whisperer is very very useful and good.

Then of course you will go for the Artillery Crops Gauntlets, Artillery Corps Tassets, and Artillery Corps Greaves. They will give you everything that you will need as a gunner gear. Stick with them no matter what. The skills of Spare Shot, Ammo boost… Just go with these. Core item set equipment.

The trinket situation is again, RNG, and up to you. Recommended are the same as before the Absolute Petalace and the Fatal Tempest Talisman.
