Nightingale is an open-world exploration game where you can go on amazing adventures with friends or as a solo player. As you play, there are a number of different worlds, or Realms, that you can travel to. Depending on the Realm Cards that you use, your adventure experience will be very diverse.

In Nightingale, you will be exploring many different Realms using Realm Cards. These are items that can grant you access to portals that transport you between different Realms. In this guide, we’ll show you how to craft the Forest & Antiquarian Cards and how to traverse a Fae Portal.

Craft A Forest Card & Antiquarian Card & Traverse a Fae Portal

To Traverse a Fae Portal, you will need to travel to the Portal location which you can find in your Mini Map. Then, you’ll want to insert the Forest Biome Card and the Antiquarian Major Card. Once you have everything done, you will be able to enter the portal.

Before you craft the cards, you will need a Simple Enchanter’s Focus. To place it, you will need to have 1 Lumber, 2 Ingots and 5 Glass.

  • Lumber: To get Lumber, you must use a Simple Saw Table. After that, you’ll want to collect some Wood Bundles that you can use to turn them into Lumber.
  • Ingots: To get Ingots, you’ll want to obtain many different ores using the Simple Mining Pick. Then, you’ll want to use a Simple Smelter to turn them into Ingots. For more detailed steps, take a look at this Ingot Guide.
  • Glass: As you go mining, you will also be able to find Raw Gems. You can put these Raw Gems in the Simple Smelter to also create Glass. For more details, here’s our dedicated guide for Glass!

Once you have all the materials, you will be able to start crafting the cards.

Next, you’ll want to craft the Antiquarian Card. But first, you will want to obtain the Antiquarian Recipe. To get it, you must enter the Antiquarian Site of Power after reaching a gear score of 20.

After you enter, you’ll want to use your weapon (best if ranged) to defeat all enemies. You will then be able to find the final boss at the end, which you need to defeat for the Card Recipe.

Then, go to the Simple Enchanter’s Focus Bench and craft the card. You’ll want to have Paper, Ink & Essence Dust. To get Paper & Ink, you can check the steps mentioned above.

To find Essence Dust, you will want to extract items from your inventory. Depending on the rarity of the item, you will get a different number of Essence Dust.
