Gallery Painting Puzzle Guide – Resident Evil Village
In order to access the puzzle, you first need to progress into the story until you get the silver mask. Once you do, head over to the second floor and into the Guest Bedroom.
In one of the doors, you will find a Snake Painting that is essential for the puzzle.
Once you have gotten the Snake Painting, head on over back to the painting room. Read the clue again to get an idea on how to solve it. The clue reads “The predators stand united, each staring down their prey.”
To solve this, you need to place all predator animals on one side, and all prey animals on the opposite side. But you cannot put any prey in front of any animal. You must align them with the correct animal.
- The wolf painting must face the sheep.
- The snake painting must face the frog.
- The spider painting must face the butterfly.
After placing the paintings in the correct order, a brief cutscene will play that shows all the paintings ascending, and the bars blocking the key will go down, letting you get the key.
