Bosses
This update also added 3 new Endgame bosses for you to fight and grind for different rewards. These bosses start at level 83. Some of the items you get from them are used in crafting Endgame Armor Sets.
- Lord Styx the Night Champion
- Drops Onyx Tear and Blood Key.
- Gorecrusher the Behemoth
- Drops Bat Leather and Bat Leather Bag.
- General Valencia the Depraved
- Drops Shadow Weave and Primal Jewels (which unlocks the ability to craft Tier 4 Jewels).
Simon Belmont the Vampire Hunter
The base level of Simon Belmont is considered to be around Level 80 but as you can see in the image below that two question marks appear instead of its actual level. And maybe the reason for that is, that the boss changes its level dynamically to match your level when you approach it. By the way, this boss drops the Sanguine Whip weapon.
Legendary Weapons
Before the update, Legendary weapons did not give much Gear Level increase. They only offered +1 over the Purple weapons so they were not a necessity for fighting bosses. But that has changed now. They now offer +4 over the Purple weapons which makes them very important in Endgame.
How to get Legendary Weapons
You have a chance to obtain Legendary Weapons from the Merchant that is marked in the image below. Cost of buying from this Merchant is 1500 Greater Stygian Shards.
You can also get Legendary weapon recipes as drop rewards from bosses. You can then craft them at the Ancestral Forge.
Material Requirements of Crafting
As you reach the Endgame, the amount of materials that you will need to craft different stuff will start to skyrocket. You will be grinding a lot for those materials.
One of the better ways to do this is whenever you are roaming around the world and you see an opportunity to grind some materials. Make sure to stop and actually do it even if you do not need those materials at that particular time. Chances are you will run short on them later on.
Tier 4 Jewels
Another tier of Jewels was also added in this update. The base Stygian requirement of crafting a single Tier 4 Jewel is 320 Greater Stygian Shards. Tier 4 Jewels gives some of the best stat bonuses in the game right now. So make sure to take advantage of those in the Endgame.
Tier 3 Accessories
A new tier of accessories was also added to the game. It is the Tier 3, which means new accessories such as Amulets and Pendants for you to get. These accessories offer different kinds of bonuses as well which are going to be crucial during Endgame.
Crafting Siege Golem Stones
The way to craft Siege Golem Stones has also been changed in this update. Now you require 8 Obsidian and 1 Primal Blood Essence to craft a single Siege Golem Stone. And there are two ways of crafting a single piece of Obsidian:
- 20 Gem Dust, 4 Radium Alloy and 4 Scourgestone.
- OR 120 Greater Stygian Shards and 4 Scourgestone.
Now this makes crafting Siege Golem Stones very expensive and will require a lot of grinding.
Soul Shards
These are also made very powerful and are going to be important in Endgame. Their bonuses are mentioned below:
- Soul Shard of the Winged Horror
- Increases your Spell Critical Strike Chance by 15%.
- Gives 15% Damage to Vampires.
- Your Primary Attacks have a chance to create a Chaos Explosion which ignites nearby enemies.
- Replaces your Ultimate with Void Quake Vortex.
- Soul Shard of the Monster
- Increases your Attack Speed by 10%.
- Gives 50% Damage to Vampires.
- Your Primary Attacks have a 20% chance to spawn a Chain Lightning.
- Replaces your Ultimate with Eye of the Storm.
- Soul Shard of Solaris
- Increases your Spell Cooldown Recovery Rate by 15%.
- Gives 15% Damage to Vampires.
- Your Primary Attacks have a 10% chance to summon a Death Knight.

- Gives 25% Damage to Vampires.
- Your Primary Attacks have a chance to spawn a Vampiric Curse on an enemy which deals it 150 Physical damage after 3 seconds.
- Replaces your Ultimate with Bloodstorm.
Farming Stygian Shards
Stygian Shards are very important materials in the game, especially during Endgame. You can grind for Stygian Shards in South Fortress Ruins and Greater Stygian Shards can be grinded in Dracula’s Castle Garden. Both of these locations are marked in the image below.
