In V Rising, one kind of mount that may be used to get across Vardoran faster is a horse. You can travel more quickly and effectively with their assistance. They can also be used to move supplies and objects. They are a fantastic option to increase your mobility.
It is advised to get horses in the game as early as possible for the value they give in your playthrough. In this guide, I will tell you how to get a horse or mount and other things you need to know about them!
How to get a horse mount
The Silverlight Hills and the Dunley Farmlands are where you can find the horses. To mount them simply approach the animal and hit the interact key (F). Once ridden, you can gallop by using the spacebar.
Actually, there are other several locations to find horses, but here are the easiest ones to access:
- Dunley Farmlands – this area is abundant with horses. In the eastern and western part of the farmlands, there are checkpoints called Militia Encampment where you’ll find horses attached to carts. In the northeastern part, you’ll find a horse farm where you’ll have a selection of horses. Just be extra careful in this place since there are guards wandering around.
- Silverlight Hills – there is only one known location in this area, an Army Outpost. This place is not the most ideal place to find horses since it’s a late-game area. However, you can get horses without fighting if you sneak around successfully.
To completely take ownership of the horse you just found, you’ll have to take them back to your castle. In order to do this easily, you can teleport back but make sure you’re not holding anything at your hand or else the teleport with fail.
Finally, you must give your horse hay and water to keep it healthy, or else they will only stay alive for 6 hours. Hay can be obtained from vendors or collected in the wild. While you can obtain water by approaching bodies of water and filling up waterskins.
