Maelstrom in Destiny 2 is the brand new map region that you’re able to explore where basically you are going to be within time itself and given many different tasks and steps to do.
In this guide, we are going to go over all of the 4 steps that you need to pass in order to complete the Malestrom successfully.

All 4 Steps Maelstrom Guide – Destiny 2
Step 1
This is the location where you shall need to come in order to complete step 1.
Get on over to the Liming Harbor, and here, you shall need to defend the Area while also taking out all of the enemies within.
Strand Sources Bonded
Then once you do so, there will be an orb that will spawn randomly around you which you need to interact with. This is how you get the Strand Sources Bonded and complete the objective.
Area Defended
For this objective, you are basically going to want to stick around the same location as shown previously.
Now just run around and look for these little pop-ups that you can see here and there. Basically doing various objectives, looting resources, and summoning patrols will make that % rate higher and higher.
Step 2
You will need to complete the Lost Sector within the Vex Incursion Zone for this step. Basically, get to this same map location, and then you are going to enter the Vex.
On the inside defeat the enemies as well as loot and finish the bounty.
Then proceed to go toward the exit of the Vex as it is shown in the picture above.
Step 3
Come to this same location as shown above. Once you get here, you’ll see a pillar and an object that is broken. Walk up near it and get it fixed.
Step 4
Now just turn back from the previous object that you have fixed and interact with Quinn Laghari.
Once you do that, the Maelstrom objectives will be complete. Congratulations!
