As in any Halo game, here the difficulty of the game is set to levels. More precisely Easy, Normal, Heroic, and Legendary. Most of the time changing the difficulty of the game is so easy. However, in this game, some things have changed and this option may be a bit hidden.

How to Change Difficulty Halo Infinite

You can have many reasons to change the weight in the game. For example, while playing, you find yourself on a mission that is too difficult and you struggle to complete it.

Of course, there is an option to change the difficulty on an existing safe. Even if you want to turn the Skulls on or off, it is possible.

This needs to be explained as the difficulty adjustment option can be confusing and quite hidden

Here we have 4 steps you need to take in order to change the difficulty of the game and turn on/off the skulls in the campaign:

First, you need to go to the main menu

Don’t select Continue. Because this will immediately load your last Save with the settings you had before.

You should choose ‘Load Game’. This gives you a menu with four save game slots. You have an option for 4 campaign saves at once.

Next, you should select your save file. This will bring up a new screen. Here you will have the ‘New Game’ option and the menu will give you the option to change the difficulty or to turn on or off the skulls.

That’s the whole procedure in a nutshell. I hope it is useful.
