Diablo Immortal takes dungeon crawling to a new level by offering players multiple classes to choose from. However, if you are new to the game, choosing a class for your character can be confusing. This guide will show you the best starting class for beginners in Diablo Immortal.

Best Class for New Players – Diablo Immortal

There are a total of 6 classes in Diablo Immortal. Namely, Wizard, Demon Hunter, Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, and Necromancer. The Barbarian is a melee physical fighter that can heal off their third attack, making them a great bruiser tank.

As a barbarian, you want to pull enemies towards you and deal AoE damage. The Crusader, on the other hand, is a pure tank, that can pull enemies and deal sweeping attacks. The Crusader has a lot of health, CC, and stuns for the party.

Ranged Classes

The Demon Hunter is a physical ranged class with great mobility and agility. As a demon hunter, you will be kiting enemies while using your dual crossbow to deal AoE damage. However, they have less health and do not have a lot of crowd control.

Wizard is a magic ranged class that focuses on combo skills that deal a lot of consistent damage. The Wizard has a higher skill cap and is not recommended for new players due to its mechanics of making sure you combo your skills correctly.

Hybrid Classes

The Monk is a versatile melee class that has some mid-range skills allowing you to pull enemies towards you. The Monk also has multiple mobility skills, allowing you to move across the battlefield.

Necromancers use the power of the undead to deal damage to enemies while protecting themselves. As a necromancer, you want to utilize the corpses on the ground you get when you defeat an enemy and make them explode for AoE damage.
