Akkan is said to be one of the toughest bosses in the game, which is incredible considering that pretty much every boss in this game (with some exceptions), can be beaten without much effort.
However, Akkan is no joke. They don’t call him the Plague Legion Commander Akkan for nothing. This demon fights in the front line, which means that he is not to be messed with and must be 100% ready to fight, lest you taste defeat from his scythe.
But the question is, how high should you hone your Brelshaza gear in order to face Akkan?
Lost Ark – How High Should You Hone Your Brelshaza Gear Before Akkan?
Hone It Until Your Equipped Item Level is at 1580
When playing Lost Ark, it’s generally up to your preference.
However, take note that the Akkan Legion Raid Normal difficulty unlocks at 1580. If you are 1540 or below, then you’re out of luck, you won’t be able to get the Legion Raid unlocked.
1600 will unlock Hard mode, however, that difficulty does not unlock until April. Even then, you will need to get +21 Brelshalza gear to do so, and that’s not possible currently.
The best way to reach 1580 is to get all of your Brelshaza gear to +19 and have it sit on a nice 1580. This is the most efficient way to get the Legion Raid unlocked, while also being ready for the fight.
