Manor Lords is the most wish-listed game on Steam. This means that are simply loving it and they are coming up with more and more questions on how to play it. In this guide, we will be explaining to you the process of how to upgrade houses so you can progress through the game. Let’s get started.
How To Upgrade Houses – Manor Lords
Building houses might just be the single most important thing in Manor Lords. You will be starting out with literally nothing to your name in this game. You will have a couple of people, an ox, and very few resources. The first thing that you will need to build – is a house!
So our tip of the day for you is to build as many houses as you can. Housing people can be very useful since they are the blood and bones of your village. They will make your whole area and village to become bigger and better.
Make sure to place the houses in the correct positions so that the roads can have a better flow and when that is done – make sure to upgrade them.
You will need to satisfy these needs for your villagers to upgrade a house:
- Food
- Clothing
- Entertainment
- Faith
- Water
- Fuel
Manor Lords is like other games where you build a city. You put a worker, in this case, Peasants, on a plot of land so they can build the building you choose. They need resources, mostly wood, to build, and when they’re done, they give your village more jobs or materials that you can use to move it forward.
For example, if you build a church, it will give the villagers religion, which is needed to raise the level of your houses.
When you build hunting lodges, your villagers can go hunting for food, and when you build houses, you get another peasant who can do work for you.
To move forward in the game, one of your main goals will be to improve your homes. For these upgrades to be available, you have to meet a certain set of requirements. At higher levels, you might need more building materials, access to religious facilities, or even a wider range of food options. You can look at these requirements if you choose the building and click on the upgrade tab.
Due to the small number of mechanics available in the demo version, there is no reason to add to the Burgage plot. The only reason might be to finish one of the first tasks, which is called “Comforts and Conveniences.”
In the Manor Lords demo, most buildings can’t be upgraded or the option to do so is turned off. You can also improve the Burgage plot and the Granary. This will let you store more things in it.
That’s everything that you need to know about upgrading your Houses in Manor Lords. We hope that this guide was clear and given you the information you needed. Happy upgrading!
