Monster Hunter Sunbreak is the new addition of slaying monsters in style that we have been waiting for for a while. Tons of people have their eyes wide open for any new information about the upcoming monsters as well as maps. There have been a lot of speculations, but here we will talk about what is for certain. Let’s get started.

All New Monsters & New Maps – Monster Hunter Sunbreak

Monsters

From what we know so far in the new expansion from all the various tweets and information released by the developers, there will be 17 new Monsters. From those, we have concrete information and details about 13 of them. The monsters are:

  • Malzeno
  • Pyre Rakna-Kadaki
  • Daiymo Hermitaur
  • Espinas
  • Gore Magala
  • Magma Almudron
  • Aurora Somnacanth
  • Seregios
  • Blood Orange Bishaten
  • Garangolm
  • Astalos
  • Lunagaron
  • Shogun Ceanataur

Those are the monsters that we know about that are going to be added for sure. As for the other 4 ones, there have been tons of speculations. People are guessing that they might be just reskinned from the other monsters(like an eye patch, or crystals added, etc.).

Nothing has been confirmed though and here we base ourselves on confirmed information. So on that note, I won’t be speculating anything and we just have to wait for further news about the other monsters. In time we hope we will get more details.

Maps

Also, this comes from all the information from the developers and it is combined with some speculations. There have been confirmed new maps but it still leaves us guessing if it’s going to be something huge and explorable of a map or something small like an arena for a boss.

The majority of the player base has been speculating that it isn’t going to be anything very vast to explore, so we can expect something like the Citadel or the Jungle when it comes to the new maps.

The devs have confirmed the Forlorn arena but nothing more than that. We can be patient and hopefully get something like Abyss where we can explore and investigate a very big map.

People have been speculating that we will get something like the Guiding lands as a map, or actually as an upgrade. It will be something like getting a new map without actually getting a new map.
