Pokemon Legends: Arceus is filled with powerful Pokemons that you can catch and challenge. One of the powerful Pokemons in the game is Darkrai. This guide will show you how you can catch and add Darkrai to your team.

How to get Darkrai — Pokemon Legends Arceus

Darkrai is a dark-type Pokemon that is considered a Pitch-Black Pokemon. This Pokemon is one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game and has the Bad Dreams ability. Darkrai is weak to Pokemons with Fighting, Bug, and Fairy-type moves.

Unfortunately, you can only catch a Darkrai if you have saved data of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl on your Switch device. If you have played both games, you can proceed to the next step.

The next step would be to complete and finish the Pokemon Legends: Arceus game.

After the end credit rolls, you can go back to the Jubilife Village and you will get a request called “Research Request”.

This research request will be a search for Darkrai. Continue and follow the quest markers until you encounter the Darkrai near the Lonely Spring in Coronet Highlands. 

Throwing a pokemon to engage the Darkrai can be tricky. What you could do is to throw a Stealth Spray so you would not get noticed and then throw your Pokemon at the Darkrai to initiate the battle.

On the other hand, if you do get noticed, you have to time your throw when it appears to initiate the battle.
