In the Covert Research & Reclamation quests of Gray Zone Warfare, you’re tasked to retrieve a cargo or container which contains “something of immense significance.” We may not have any idea what’s inside of it, but one thing’s for sure, we want to get that juicy reward upon completing the missions! If you’re having a hard time locating the said container, I’m here to help you out! In this guide, I’ll show you how you can complete the Covert Research & Reclamation quests in the game.
Covert Research & Reclamation Quest Guide | Mithras
For the Covert Research & Reclamation quests, you’ll have to find the container hidden in a fortified stronghold. And that’s not an understatement, it really is filled with lots of AI(s), so proceed with caution. You may actually die here unlike the other missions. The location of the stronghold for the container’s location is in 169, 117.

Again, there are lots of AI(s) in this area as it’s a highly contested zone. Consider bringing friends when you can and play it slow/smart. Clear the mobs out and once that’s done, follow the arrow as shown in the image below and go inside the building.
Once inside, make your way upstairs by following the one with the graffiti.
There will be two rooms. You’d want to go to the left room as shown in the image below.
Look at the floor and you’ll see the container chilling in the back of the room. Pick up the container and then you’ll have to decide who to give it back to. If you bring it back to Lab Rat, you complete the Covert Research quest. Meanwhile, if you return it to Dr. Pell, you’re rewarded for the Reclamation quest. They have varying rewards, so make sure to check them out.
