Ship Class Guide For Everspace 2 Vindicator Class
One of the more tactical and fun ships in Everspace 2 is the Vindicator Class. A ship that is very versatile, can take some beating as well as dish out some damage as well. This ship is great at medium range fighting but can be also good at all ranges depending on how you set it up. There’s a lot to talk about this ship so let’s get started.
The Vindicator only has 2 primary weapon slots and 1 Secondary. That may sound like a downgrade from your starter ship but it’s all about the unique ability. The Vindicator’s unique ability is to get drones from ship wreckage. These drones can then be activated, and they shoot at enemies around you. The drones have unlimited lifespan so as long as they’re alive they can dish out damage.
If you get Class Expertise for this ship it’ll boost Drone Damage and Durability while also increasing the wreck interaction range for making new drones in the middle of combat. The ship’s ultimate ability is the Phalanx which Spawns all drones, increases their rate of fire and also will cause them to attack the locked target. The cooldown of the ability is quite fast so you can easily use it once or twice in big engagements.
This ship is great for bursting single targets with the drones and ultimate ability. If you like a ship that is more than just shooting things this is the ship for you.
