Military-themed extraction shooter Gray Zone Warfare, much like Escape From Tarkov, features its own set of vendor NPCs who will give you various tasks to complete around the map. Lab Rat is one of them, and in this guide, we will show you how to complete her The Brave task, which is actually pretty simple and only requires a bit of walking.

The Brave Quest Guide | Mithras

Although this guide is specifically labeled “Mithras”, the steps should be completely the same for the other two factions as well due to this being in neutral territory. Just something to keep in mind in case you get a little confused.

Basically, all you need to do is head over to the firing lanes at Hunter’s Paradise. The specific spot is going to be marked in the map below, and it is merely slightly west of where the firing range label is.

There, you will see a corpse tied up to a wooden pole. Unfortunately, this is the person that you are looking for. Approach the body until the task updates, and grab the goodbye letter on the ground behind him for some proof of his identity.

It is highly recommended to have some free spots in whatever safe container you have with you. This is because you have to extract with the letter on hand, as this must be given to Lab Rat back at base.

Once you have gotten the letter, you are free to call in a helicopter and head to the nearest landing zone, which will likely be Foxtrot 2 over to the west of the Dumping Ground, just past the tree line.

And that is everything you need to know in order to complete what is essentially a simple fetch quest in this game. Check out our guide on how to complete Lab Rat’s It’s in the Water II task in Gray Zone Warfare too if you haven’t already done it!
