Although Icarus is not a problematic game in terms of graphics, it can still be said that some problems occur occasionally. Such as the problem of flickering shadows. Of course, we can improve the FPS of the game itself.

How to BOOST FPS and Increase Performance on any PC Icarus

So what are the options for improving FPS? The first thing you will need to do is turn on Game Mode in your PC optimizer.

Next, you will need to turn off all video or audio recorders in the background. It is advisable to turn off the Hobox Game Bar.

The reason is that this can make FPS worse because it is quite confusing.

Next, it would be good to turn off the hardware-accelerated GPU. Not to mention I hope you know you need to have the latest drivers for Windows or your graphics card.

Regarding the power plan, be sure to set it to a balanced one, which is of course recommended.

Overclocking is helps for better performance of any game, but it is not necessary if you have a weaker processor.

In terms of in-game settings of course if you want to get as much performance as possible or FPS you certainly need to reduce them as much as possible.

But still of course you want to keep the appearance of the game or more precisely you want to keep the graphics as good as possible.

We all want to play the game on full screen and with the recommended resolution. It is advisable to keep the V-sync off as it may shorten our frame.

Set the motion blur to zero, it will help you for better performance. Adjust shadow or distance settings and view textures to low or medium.

Use simple building shadows, disable lightning effects and disable player light shadows should be switched on. You should only switch off the volumetric clouds.

Turn off DLSS mode as well as everything related to ray tracing.

Doing all of the above will increase the performance and FPS of the game.
