When playing City Builder games, you should always aim for a mix of efficiency and aesthetics. There’s something nice about looking at a well-made city with proper roads that connect everything. That’s if you don’t make a mistake in placing the roads.
In Manor Lords, you’ll want to build roads not only to make your town tidy but also to connect vital buildings. The thing is, you might want to remove roads because of accidentally placing them or because you thought of a better layout. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can delete roads in the game. How To Delete Roads
Roads are important in a lot of City Builder games and even in Manor Lords. Sometimes it can be a bit funky, and you accidentally make bad roads. Maybe it’s the position or the automatic snapping, but there are some roads you’ll want to delete.

Here are the steps that you’ll need to do to delete roads in the game:
- Go to the road builder by pressing “R” or pressing the road icon.
- Hold Left Alt and then left-click on a road.
- Press the “Remove” button when the prompt appears.
- Delete the road!

Detailed Walkthrough
Placing roads in Manor Lords is simple, instant, and free-of-charge. So, you can place as many as you want. You might place too much though or sometimes, you’ll place it in the wrong area. That’s why you’ll want to delete them.
To Delete roads in the game, all you need to do is go to Road Construction using the R-key. You can also use the button on the lower part of the screen. Then, you’ll want to hold the left Alt-key, and then left-click on a road. A prompt will appear, and you can press the Remove button to finalize it!
You can remove all of the roads that you’ve placed but you can’t remove major roads like the King’s roads. So, make sure that you build around those roads when you’re just starting and plan your layouts!
Roads that were always there when the map was generated also can’t be deleted. So, if you find a thin road that can’t be deleted even with the prompt popping out that means it’s been there since the start.
