When you play RPGs like World of Aincrad you’re bound to miss a few important locations as you move from one floor to another. That’s the average dungeon crawler experience after all, but sometimes missing out on quests and other important locations just doesn’t feel right.
There will always be more things to spot on your second playthrough, but why wait for that when you can clear an entire floor on your first try? That’s exactly what we’re going to do in this guide, so keep reading if you want to find everything!
Floor 1 – All Quests, Waypoints, & Other Important Locations
Naturally you’ll start at the Town of Beginnings as soon as you enter Floor 1. Right in the middle of the plaza where the clock is will be your first quest given by Warren Peace. He’ll ask you to defeat 10 boars and reward you with some basic items. Use him and the location itself as your landmark so you won’t get lost. There’s a total of 8 Questgivers on Floor 1, but let’s cover the Quest NPC’s first.
We won’t be going through the NPC’s and locations in chronological order. Instead we’ll give you a route you can follow so you don’t end up getting lost. Don’t be surprised if we suddenly jump and skip a few locations. That just means we’re showing you the next closest NPC in that area!
All Town Locations
Once you’re done talking to Warren Peace, go straight down the road until you reach an intersection. Turn left and you’ll find Grace Cynthia sitting on a picnic table. To complete her Level 1 Quest you’ll have to take out 10 Wolves. Using the same image as a reference, head towards the bridge. Christian Lynwood will be sitting on the other side and will task you with defeating 15 Nepenthes for your Level 3 Quest.
Head back to the other side of the bridge again and turn left. This is the opposite side of where you found Cynthia earlier. You’ll find a shop on the right side of this street, enter the shop and talk to Milo Maximillian. He’ll give you your Level 7 Quest where you’ll have to defeat an Alpha Nepenthes.
Waypoints and Other Important Locations
Now we can finally leave the town! Go past the bridge again and head over to the entrance at the very end of the street. There’s a clear path painted in brown for you to follow once you’re outside. That path will lead you into the Forest where the First Waypoint will be. Use this waypoint so you won’t have to walk back and forth between the town and the forest the next time you go outside.
Face towards the left of the Waypoint and go straight into the forest. At the end will be the door of the Dungeon Entrance.
Turn left when you’re at the front of the Dungeon Entrance. Stay close to the cliff and you’ll end up next to a lake momentarily. Follow the path again and you’ll find Gavin Zachary sitting next to a campfire. He’ll be giving you your Level 5 Quest, next to him is another Waypoint you can use.
This time go inside of the dungeon, Anson Harlow will be at the other side. He’ll give you your Level 8 Quest where you have to defeat the dungeon boss. Here’s the order of the turns you have to take so you won’t getting lost in the corridors. We’ll start at the entrance:
- Right
- Left
- Left
- Right
- Left
- Right
- Right
- Left
You’ll never reach the far end of each corridor you pass. So turn to the next corridor when you get the first chance to do so in order to reach Anson.
Going back to the entrance of the Town of Beginnings, turn left and run straight until you see rock formations to your right. Head towards the rocks and start following the escarpment on your left side.
Turn left again and follow the elevated piece of land to your right and run all the way to the back. You’ll see the Nepenthes Waypoint shortly.
