With so many quests and tasks available to complete, you’ll find yourself going all over the map. Additionally, you will be dealing with a wide variety of NPCs when you turn quests in.
One quest that you’ll come across on this Mithras map is The Man Who Disappeared Quest in Gray Zone Warfare. Players have come across some issues when they are completing this quest. So, we’ll show you exactly how to complete this quest and get past the issues. Let’s get into it!
The Man Who Disappeared Quest Guide

With that all done and dusted, we’ll now proceed to the topic of hand. Here are the steps that you’ll need to take to complete The Man Who Disappeared Quest in Gray Zone Warfare:
- Pick up the passport from the table at the command tent in the Base Camp area.
- Head to the Midnight Sapphire area on the Mithras Map.
- Enter the Hotel and make your way to the lobby
- Place the passport in the receptionist’s file cabinet to complete the quest.
Pick Up The Passport
This first step for The Man Who Disappeared Quest in Gray Zone Warfare is essential. It is also a step that quite a few players end up missing without realizing.
When you get the The Man Who Disappeared Quest, you’ll actually need to pick up a document from the command tent in the Base Camp area of Mithras. This is the passport that you’ll actually be placing in the quest later on.
You’ll find the passport on the table in the command tent shown below.
So make sure you go here and get the passport if you haven’t and put it in your Safe box.
However, keep in mind that you are not allowed to get killed during this quest while you have the passport. If you do end up getting killed, you’ll find that you still have the passport.
But, you will not be able to continue with the quest and actually plant the passport later in the quest. So, you’ll have to return to the command tent in the Base Camp area, and get the task again.
Either way, once you have the passport, you can proceed with the next step.
The Man Who Disappeared Quest Location
Now that you have the passport, you’ll need to head to the right location for The Man Who Disappeared Quest in Gray Zone Warfare. So, you’ll be heading to the Midnight Sapphire area in the Mithras map, which is quite close to the Pha Lang Airfield.
The Pha Lang Airfield has a variety of quests, which includes the Business or Pleasure Quest.
Once you’re in Midnight Sapphire, you’ll actually need to head towards the Hotel. We recommend that you go to the Hotel 3 LZ and go towards the hotel from the South West. It’ll make your journey much easier.
The Midnight Sapphire Hotel is smack dab in the middle.
The exact coordinates that you should be heading to are the following: (171, 166).
Finding The Receptionist’s Desk (File Cabinet)
The Midnight Sapphire area in Gray Zone Warfare is full of enemies, so we recommend that you deal with all of them. You’ll find a lot of these enemies in the Hotel and they’ll make it very difficult for you to survey the area.
Killing them will make exploring the mission area much easier. Remember, if you do die, you’ll have to get the task again, so it’s best you avoid the possibility of death.

Once the enemies are taken care of, head to the main hotel lobby on the ground floor. When you’re here, look towards one of the entrances.
You’ll see that there is a receptionist’s desk nearby.
Plant The Passport in File Cabinet
Approach the receptionist’s desk and go behind it. On the right side of the desk, you’ll see that there is a file cabinet at the bottom. It’ll have a bunch of passports already on it.
Simply go near the passports and interact with them. Doing so will allow you to put the passport that you had in the filing cabinet. Doing so will allow you to finish the main objective of The Man Who Disappeared Quest in Gray Zone Warfare.
Now you can return to Handshake at the command tent in the Base Camp area. In this way, you’ll be able to turn in the quest.
