The first thing you’ll want to do for the Night Ocean Task is actually go to the correct location. So, you’ll be heading to the Blue Lagoon area all the way in the far South West area of the Gray Zone Warfare map.

Specifically, your objective will be to get to the central car park within the Blue Lagoon area. The Makeshift Hideout is here and it is absolutely teeming with enemies.

Prepare for a Fight (Fighting Strategy)

When you arrive at Blue Lagoon in Gray Zone Warfare, you’ll find yourself near the front gate as shown below. However, we recommend that you remain cautious here.

There are typically many agitated enemies in front of the gate, with even more through the gate. As a result, you want to make sure that you are properly prepared for this gun fight.

We recommend that you bring a gun with a scope so that you can pick off these enemies from afar. Our Best Weapons Build guide also has a bunch of builds that will help you deal with a lot of enemies.

With so many enemies, it’ll be difficult to locate the actual target for the Night Ocean Task, Malo Luangrath. We’ll be looking at that next.

Neutralize Malo Luangrath

In Blue Lagoon, we recommend that you start shooting down any enemies that you come across. Be cautious here as there will sometimes be enemies hiding behind cover and in corners. These enemies can easily surprise and kill you.

This includes Malo Luangrath as well, who we found hiding in a corner right next to the Blue Lagoon gate.

Many players actually have difficulty identifying Malo Luangrath. Luckily, he does have some identifying features. Here are the NPC features you’ll be looking out for to locate Malo Luangrath:

  • Blue Jacket
  • Blue Armor Piece
  • Headphones.

Below is an image which shows the NPC you want to eliminate for the Night Ocean Task. As you can see, he very much is dead!

Don’t worry about missing out on him if you’ve killed many enemies. When you do kill him, the objective for neutralizing him will automatically be ticked off. So, if you want to kill everyone in Blue Lagoon, that is actually a valid strategy!

We also recommend that you loot his body when he’s dead. He’ll typically have better gear than the rest of the enemies. For example, we managed to find Specter Armor and an AK-74M on him.

Now, you can head back to Artisan to turn in the quest and you’re set!
