There are a lot of different tasks that you’ll usually want to do in Extraction Shooters. These tasks usually reward you with loot as well as a reputation for traders so that they can sell more stuff. That’s why you’ll want to know how to complete them!
In Grey Zone Warfare, some of the tasks require you to farm for a key. They’re often not guaranteed to spawn so you might get it on the first try or the 10th hour. The quest called “What Was Left” requires a key.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can complete this quest in the game. We’ll go through what key you’ll need to get, where to use it, and where to go. Now, let’s see what we can do to complete this quest!
What Was Left Task Guide
There are a lot of tasks with different objectives in Gray Zone Warfare, and some of them can be simple fetch quests. The “What Was Left” looks like a simple fetch quest but you’ll need to pray to RNG to get a key you’ll need! Here’s how you can complete it!

These are the steps that we’ll be taking to complete this task:
- Go to the southeastern part of the map in Blue Lagoon.
- Head towards the Makeshift Hideout area to the southwest.
- Kill Enemy AI soldiers until you get the Blue Lagoon Restaurant Storage Key.
- Go to the Blue Lagoon Restaurant Storage Room and collect the Box of Passports.
- Extract and complete the task!

Detailed Walkthrough
The “What Was Left” task is given to you by the Trader Banshee, and you’ll need to retrieve the personal documents. To do this, you’ll want to go to the Blue Lagoon which is to the southeastern part of the map. From there, head over to the Makeshift Hideout.
While inside this area, make sure to kill as many enemies as you can and loot them. You’ll need to loot the Blue Lagoon Restaurant Storage Key from one of them. You can’t complete the quest without it! Once you get to the key, head to the center of the Makeshift Hideout and look to the northwest. There, you’ll find the building shown below. Head inside the building and then turn left.
There, you’ll find a doorway that leads to a locked door with an electric fan next to it. You’ll need the Blue Lagoon Restaurant Storage Key to open it.
After going through the locked door, you’ll want to look for the Box of Passports as shown below. It’s an item that will take up 2×2 squares in your inventory so keep that in mind! Now, all you need to do is extract with it and then give it to Banshee for the rewards!
