MMO’s can be tough to get into, and they are especially tough to stay after a while. Which is why some people often leave MMO’s alone because it’s either not for them or they are just burnt out. This results in a lot of characters just stuck in a void, hoping their creators come back and play. But eventually they do! Players come back after some exciting expansion or update and want to try it out, but get overwhelmed by the new things they added while they were gone. Beginner’s Guide For 2022 – New World
For new and returning players, the beginning of New World has been completely revamped. With new cutscenes and animations, the beginning of New World, as well as its story, is now a whole new experience. So it’s obvious that new players are in for a treat, but what about returning players?
If you didn’t go far into the game and are somewhere around level 5, then it is recommended to start again to experience the overhauled beginning.
However, if you have spent a large number of hours into the game prior to leaving, then it is recommended to not start over. Your character is already highly leveled and you have good gear, why start over? Instead, you should just enjoy the new additions to the game.
New players can enjoy going through the main quests with friends when you start the game. However, you have to find each other first before doing any of the quests. Once you and your group have found each other, then you can go through the first 25 levels together as a group.
It also helps that you can progress at your own pace. If you want to take a break from doing main quests, you certainly can. This also applies to returning players. Main quests can be a bit too much at some points, so it’s important to enjoy the game at your own pace. Don’t rush to the end.
You should also invest in some trade skills. Crafting, Gathering, and Refining are skills that you can learn that can both benefit you and the community. You can earn a lot of money from selling what you craft, gather, or refine, as the market has high demand for certain items. You can even keep some of the items for yourself to enjoy.
One other thing you should think about is Factions and Companies. Factions are run by NPC’s that give you unique benefits. Companies are made by players that take control of Aeternum’s Settlements. However, know that both are entirely optional. You can play the game as a lone wolf from start to finish.
