Prices come and go in New World, but that doesn’t mean the item’s value is forever lost. That just means that there’s less competition for you to deal with on the off chance that they go back up. And if that does happen, all the farming you’ve done beforehand will have paid itself thrice in seconds!
All it takes is the right location to come back to every time you’re farming for mods. Human Ward and Bane Gear are highly sought out in New World, when you’re putting together gear sets for the Empyrean Forge Expedition. In this guide, we’ll show you the best places to go to along with the craft mods you’ll need.
Best Farms for Human Ward & Bane Craft Mods
The craft mods you’ll need to farm for the Human Ward and Human Bane gear will be a Vial of Lost Essence and an Urn of Lost Essence respectively. To have a chance of getting these items, your travels will take you to three places. These places would be Rabbit Island, The Amrine Excavation, and the Skysong Crypt.
Rabbis Island can be found on the Restless Shore. Once you make it to Rabbit Island, you’re going to kill a White Rabbit roaming around named Stanley. Take out Stanley to spawn in the Harekeeper. This mob has a pretty decent chance of dropping both Vial and Urn of Lost Essence. Not only that but Stanley respawns rather quickly, eliminating a lot of downtime for this farm.
The Amrine Excavation
If you’re low levelled but still looking for named mobs to farm then head west of Noblereach. You’ll get more value from this expedition if you’re just starting out.
The only downside for this farm is the fact that you need three players to fully complete the expedition. There are plates you need to step on within Amrine and you can’t progress further unless you have one person standing on each plate.
Just north of Ebonscale Reach, a fantastic getaway for all of your Obsidian Gypsum needs. There are five bosses in this area that have a chance of dropping the Human Ward or Bane craft mod. The Cursed One is located in the southern section of the area within the crypt. Mordici the Mortician will be in the courtyard, Slayer Rosellen is further up north below the mountain.
The two remaining resource bosses will be Ivan the Inevitable (can be found in the Church) and Farley in the northernmost point of the crypt. Along with Farley will be several ironwood nodes, farm those as well for a chance of gathering some Emerald Gypsum.
These are the top three places to go to for farming your mods. Squeeze this loop into your daily grind if you’re trying to maximize your time. Personally, the Harekeeper would be your go-to guy as the chances of drops are pretty good for the amount of time you’re kept waiting.
If you’re in desperate need of some money and prefer a pacifist approach then maybe crafting heavy chests will benefit you just as much? You still have time before the season ends after all!
