Best Hatchet Drops (December 2022) In New World
There’s a lot of different weapons with their own perks, stats and uses in New World. Sometimes the ‘best’ weapon out there is useless to someone with a very specific build, so keep that in mind. The Hatchets shown in this list are weapons that go with the meta of the game.
Best Hatchet Drops in New World:
- Berserker’s Axe – One of the more PVP focused hatchets in this list, Keenly Empowered and Penetrating Backstab really ups your damage output with this weapon. Paired with the weapon’s great Critical Damage Multiplier Viscious and Keenly Empowered goes well.
- Ligo – Another great PVP hatchet that has both Vicious and Keenly Empowered with the added bonus of Plagued Crits.
- Driftwood – It’s similar to Ligo but has Vicious, Plagued Crits and Keen. It’s much easier to get than Ligo by just getting Barnicles Materia, a fairly easy material to find.
- Tiger’s Instinct – This one is an Open World Hatchet with Refreshing Evasion, Rogue and Keenly Jagged, the last two being great at doing tons of damage. You can try to get it by farming Borvarn, though it’s higly suggested to do it with a group.
- Bonechopper – A great all rounder for PVP and PVE, the Bonechopper has Angry Earth Bane, Keenly Fortified and Rogue. You can try to get this by farming corrupted but it’s purely RNG so you might get it in the first try or after a few hours.
