New World is one of the top rated MMORPGs out there and that didn’t have the best of starts. When it released it was a mess for most people, with various problems from performance issues to the general design and content of the game. Since then the game has been slowly fixing and improving itself, with the developers adding regular patches and content to the game. Now the game is shaping out to be one of the better games out there in the genre, and with winter fast approaching of course there’s going to be a winter event. In this guide we’ll show you what to expect with the Winter Convergence Festival in New World.
Winter Convergence Festival 2022 Complete Guide For New World
Starting and participating in MMO events is a great way to get out of the monotonous grind and just have fun around the different activities as well as getting certain event themed rewards. To start off the even you’ll need to find these Winter Villages around the map, like the one shown on the image below.
From there you’ll find a big Yeti called the Winter Wanderer that will give you a quest. Just like the other seasonal events in New World you have to do this quest to start the even and get the stuff you need to get the event items you want.
The quest is pretty simple and involves a world boss called the Winter Warrior. You can find the Winter Warrior by either checking the map like the one on the image below, or ask the people in the chat on where it is since some people will surely be doing the event with you.
When you defeat he warrior you’ll get the Warrior’s Hailspikes which you can then exchange for event tokens. These tokens can then be use on any of the Holiday Huts and exchange the tokens for some event goodies!
